{"id":2781,"date":"2022-07-06T07:51:46","date_gmt":"2022-07-06T04:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ubcanada.com\/?page_id=2781"},"modified":"2022-07-06T07:51:46","modified_gmt":"2022-07-06T04:51:46","slug":"sinp-hospitality-sector-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ubcanada.com\/en\/sinp-hospitality-sector-project\/","title":{"rendered":"SINP &#8211; Hospitality Sector Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_section full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1622798952972{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 30px !important;background-color: #f7f7f7 !important;}&#8221;][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1622798467369{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;custom_unordered_list&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Hospitality Sector Project<\/h2>\n<p>This system is open to immigrant workers who want to obtain permanent residency in Canada and who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are currently employed in Saskatchewan on a temporary work permit;<\/li>\n<li>have performed professional duties in the hotel sector for at least six months (6 months = 960 working hours) for an employer approved by the SINP system;<\/li>\n<li>have chosen 1 option from the following as a profession:\n<ul>\n<li>food and beverage servers (NOC 6513);<\/li>\n<li>food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (NOC 6711);<\/li>\n<li>light duty cleaners (NOC 6731);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>are eligible according to the requirements of this program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1624974230952{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-bottom: 80px !important;}&#8221;][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;custom_unordered_list&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Conditions for eligibility in the Hospitality Sector Project system under the SINP program<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In order to obtain a SINP nomination for this program, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hold an active work permit from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in one of the following specializations:\n<ul>\n<li>food and beverage servers (NOC 6513);<\/li>\n<li>food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (NOC 6711);<\/li>\n<li>light duty cleaners (NOC 6731);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>obtain a certificate of completion of 12 years of high school (provide its compliance, issued by a special organization of the country);<\/li>\n<li>be employed by an employer approved to participate in the Hospitality Industry Project by the SINP system. Please note that this program will not withdraw the immigration application from workers in the hospitality industry who have begun their professional duties with their chosen employer even before they have received their approval from the SINP program;\n<ul>\n<li>to make sure your employer has received the necessary SINP approval, you can ask your employer for a copy of their Letter of Approval;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>you must have performed your professional duties in the province for at least 6 months and meet all work requirements and standards;<\/li>\n<li>you must have a full-time, permanent job offer available from an employer in the hospitality industry in this province, who has obtained the necessary approval;<\/li>\n<li>your English language proficiency must be at least 4 points on the Canadian CLB on 4 aspects (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking);<\/li>\n<li>you must have an active Job Approval Letter from the SINP system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_section full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221;
