If you intend to live there, you will find more information in the Quebec section);<\/li>\n<li>Meet all the English and\/or French language requirements (speaking, writing, reading and listening). Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/express-entry\/documents\/language-requirements.html\" class=\"broken_link\">HERE<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>You must have at least 2 years of full-time (or the relevant number of part-time) experience in one of the skilled trades within the last 5 years before you apply;<\/li>\n<li>You must meet the National Occupational Classification (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/express-entry\/eligibility\/find-national-occupation-code.html\" class=\"broken_link\">NOC<\/a>) requirements for your chosen occupation;<\/li>\n<li>You have been in full-time employment for at least one year or have a document that proves you are qualified in this occupation. The proof of qualification must be issued by the appropriate Canadian body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Full Time<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 30 hours of work per week for 12 months. That\u2019s a total of 1,560 hours of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part Time<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 15 hours per week for 24 months, which amounts to 1 year full-time (1,560 hours) or 30 hours per week for 12 months in several jobs, which add up to 1 year full-time (1,560 hours).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Skilled Trades Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Skilled trades include the following groups and subgroups of occupations under NOC Canada:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Group 72:<\/strong> Industrial, electrical and construction trades;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 73:<\/strong> Maintenance and equipment operation trades;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 82:<\/strong> Supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Group 92:<\/strong> Processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minor Group 632:<\/strong> Chefs and cooks;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minor Group 633:<\/strong> Butchers and bakers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section full_width=&#8221;stretch_row&#8221; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1622799105156{padding-top: 100px !important;padding-bottom: 100px !important;background-color: #f7f7f7 !important;}&#8221;][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;custom_unordered_list&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Language Skills<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>You must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have proficiency in English and\/or French at least at Level 5 in Speaking and Listening and at Level 4 in Reading and Writing (according to the Canadian Language Benchmark (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/express-entry\/documents\/language-requirements\/language-testing.html\" class=\"broken_link\">CLB<\/a>));<\/li>\n<li>Submit the results of a Ministry of Immigration-recognized language test (more information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/express-entry\/documents\/language-requirements\/language-testing.html\" class=\"broken_link\">HERE<\/a>) for all the indicators (reading, listening, writing, speaking).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You must attach your English or French test scores at the time you complete your Express Entry profile. Certificates of proficiency and Language Skills must be obtained no earlier than 2 years prior to submitting the immigration application.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Education<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Federal Skilled Trades Program does not have special educational aspects. However, if you want to get extra points for Education in the Express Entry system, you must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proof of education completed in Canada (higher than secondary level) or<\/li>\n<li>A completed education from an educational institution recognized outside the country;<\/li>\n<li>An assessment (evaluation\/verification) of your educational credential issued by an organization in Canada (more information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/express-entry\/documents\/education-assessed.html\" class=\"broken_link\">HERE<\/a>).
