Skills immigration<\/h2>\n

Skills Immigration was created for professionals and semi-skilled workers in those occupations that are in high demand in British Columbia.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][\/vc_section][vc_section css=”.vc_custom_1611387755739{padding-top: 100px !important;padding-bottom: 100px !important;}”][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=”custom_unordered_list”]<\/p>\n

Qualification Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

In order to participate in BC PNP’s Skills Immigration program, the foreign worker must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Meet the eligibility requirements of the system and receive the required number of points to become selected<\/li>\n
  • Register and submit your immigration application online<\/li>\n
  • Provide required documentation for BC PNP processing<\/li>\n
  • Provide necessary paper-based documentation to become a permanent resident of Canada<\/li>\n
  • Work experience is only required for a few aspects of the system<\/li>\n
  • Work experience that skilled workers obtained outside the country is also eligible for the program<\/li>\n
  • Immigrants applying under the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled categories are required to have work experience in the province of British Columbia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Features of Skills Immigration:<\/span><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • The program provides for the processing of paper applications for Permanent Residence (PRR) from the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)<\/li>\n
    • The processing time at the IRCC is different from the time it takes to obtain permanent residence through Express Entry (the immigration eligibility system)<\/li>\n
    • The program is designed for workers who have mastered an occupation listed in the National Occupational Classification of Canada (NOC) and corresponds to qualification Levels 0, A, B, C and D only<\/li>\n
    • The program does not provide previous work experience for certain occupational categories. But having it may be an advantage for you when your immigration application is considered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      How do I apply and how does the Skilled Immigration program work?<\/span><\/h2>\n

      You can do this through the Skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS):<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • It can be done via the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS)<\/li>\n
      • Registration can only take place if you meet all the conditions for selection under the program<\/li>\n
      • It is free<\/li>\n
      • Remember that registering your foreign worker profile does not guarantee success in the selection process<\/li>\n
      • You may receive points for various aspects of the program selection requirements<\/li>\n
      • If you pass successfully, you are included in the database of immigration applicants in your chosen category<\/li>\n
      • The time that an immigrant applicant profile in the SIRS system is active is 12 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Selection factors affecting SIRS scores<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Key economic factors include:<\/p>\n

        • Occupational qualifications must meet the National Occupational Classification (NOC) and be listed on the vacancy in British Columbia<\/li>\n
        • Suggestion of annual salary level<\/li>\n
        • Location of the immigration candidate’s upcoming job<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Skilled Immigration<\/strong> Program Stages:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            • Selection. <\/strong>You should receive an invitation to apply for the Skilled Worker, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled\/International Graduate categories.<\/li>\n
            • The process for applying to be considered by the Province of British Columbia.<\/strong> You can do this online through BC PNP Online. The cost to apply for immigration is 700 Canadian dollars (CAD).<\/li>\n
            • Receiving a nomination from the province.<\/strong><\/li>\n
            • Submitting the necessary documentation for permanent residency in the country.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
