Specifically, you must have completed at least 1 year of full-time study at a certified institution of higher education in Ontario;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language skills<\/strong>:\u00a0You must have the minimum required level of language proficiency on the Canadian Language Benchmarks Scale (CLB);\n<ul>\n<li>at least level 7 in English <strong>or<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>at least level 7 in French.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Residing in the province: <\/strong>You must prove that you have lived in the region for at least <strong>12 months in the past 2 years <\/strong>prior to submitting your immigration application;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Settlement finances: <\/strong>You must have adequate funds and\/or income to cover all settlement and relocation expenses for your family members;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Intent: <\/strong>You must be willing to live in the province;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Residence at the time of your immigration application: <\/strong>You are required to reside legally in this province. This is possible under an appropriate work, study or temporary resident permit, <strong>or <\/strong>living outside the country during this period. If you are currently living in Canada, but not in Ontario, you will not be able to participate in this program;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time limit for accepting immigration applications: <\/strong>You must submit this application within<strong> 2 years <\/strong>of completing your master&#8217;s degree. For the OINP program, this is the date you receive your degree. If you do not have a credential, the program considers the date on which the official letter from the institution where you are studying was received.
