International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer
This program is designed for skilled workers who:
- have a job offer from Saskatchewan for the position with the necessary experience and
- are eligible for the International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer program.
Conditions for selection in the International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer program under the SINP system
You can apply for the International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer program if you live outside of Canada or have proof of legal residence in the country. You should also meet the following criteria:
- received at least 60 points out of 100 in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP);
- in the last 10 years you have gained at least 1 year of work experience in the specialty you want to work for in Canada;
- your language proficiency score must be at least level 4 on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB ));
- it is likely that the employer or the relevant regulatory body will require a higher level of language competence;
- if you want to get a job in a specialty that requires the permission of the relevant regulatory body or mandatory vocational training, you must meet the specified licensing criteria for this region;
- proof that you meet the requirements of the profession in regulated specialties; it must be submitted with the SINP immigration application. To learn about the conditions for regulating selected activities in Saskatchewan, go to the Regulated Professions and Licensing Conditions section.
- you have an offer of permanent employment in this region for full employment. To confirm this, the SINP system includes a Job Approval Letter in the list of documents. There is no approved list of occupations, but the job offer you receive must include a reference to a specialty according to the National Classification of Occupations (NOC) levels A, B or 0 or a reference to the corresponding name of your profession in the province;
- Clients applying in the field of food are required to choose to move under the Hospitality Sector Project. Immigrants applying for a medical immigration application must apply to the Health Professionals department.
Passing Score
You can receive a nomination under this system provided that you have obtained at least 60 out of 100 points on the SINP rating scale.
Points can be obtained for the following 5 factors:
- education;
- work experience in professional specializations;
- language competence;
- age;
- the presence of family members and the ability to adapt to the conditions of the labor market in the province of Saskatchewan.
