BC PNP – Entrepreneur Immigration

If you want to move to B.C. and set up to invest in setting up and running a business in the province, Entrepreneur Immigration is the right immigration stream for you. The system criteria are listed below.
Entrepreneur Immigration Requirements
Personal Level Criteria
In order to be selected for this program, you must:
- Have a net worth of at least 600,000 Canadian dollars (CAD) in your own right
- Prove that you have experience in owning and/or operating a business
- Be eligible or have legal immigration status in the country.
Investment, Business Criteria and Aspects of Job Creation
To qualify under this program you must:
- Formally start a business or buy and improve an existing business arrangement in the area
- You must have invested a minimum of 200,000 Canadian dollars (CAD) in the business, personally and legally
Cost of registration and application
All foreign workers submitting this application must pay the following fees:
- registration fee of $300
- application fee of $3,500
- you must pay a $1,000 application fee for each lead worker application
What does it take to enter the Entrepreneur Immigration program?
- First, you must do your own research on the region and the B.C. economy. This will enable you to find and take advantage of potential business opportunities
- The next step is to create a profile and become a member of BCP NP Online
- Then add all the information you need about your business idea to your profile
If you are eligible for the program, you will be awarded points based on the information you provide at registration. You will then be placed in the qualified group. Those who receive the highest number of points will be invited to apply to BCP NP Online.
